Loud Fruit takes its name from something deceptively simple: a fruit. But for Palestine, the watermelon has long carried a message far louder than its quiet form. When colors, flags, and voices were silenced, the fruit became a symbol of resistance, identity, and the truth that will always find a way to speak.

The brooch features a bold pentagonal silhouette inspired by the watermelon slice, with one edge subtly shaped to echo the map line of Palestine. A small detail, but one that holds the weight of a story: of people who continue to resist erasure through culture, memory, and color. Hand-etched metal forms its foundation, while layers of enamel are painted carefully by hand to ensure every piece carries its own character.

Each Loud Fruit is crafted through traditional etching techniques, then coated with a blackened brass finish and detailed with hand-painted enamel. Its vivid palette and sharp lines make it both expressive and intentional — a piece meant not just to be worn, but to be noticed.
